ABOUT THE COLOR DASH

Care 2 Color Dash 4 Kids is a fun and non-competitive 5k & 1 mile run/walk sponsored by Bolivar Kiwanis Club and the Bolivar Chapter of Care to Learn and all proceeds will benefit local children.  

 

The run will take place on Saturday, April 30th  on the SBU Campus.  Entertainment will begin at 8:00 a.m. The 1 mile fun run begins at 8:30 and the 5k will start at 9:00.   Registration will run from  7 a.m. – 8 a.m. on race day.

How much does it cost?  

If you register by April 15th, the fee for the 1 mile fun run is $20 and the fee for the 5k is $30 and you are guaranteed a shirt.  If you register after April 15th, the fee for the 1 mile fun run is $25 and the 5K is $35.  You will not be guaranteed a shirt if you register after April 15th.  

 

How do I register?

How do I become a sponsor?

How much does it cost to become a sponsor?

 

We have 3 different levels of sponsorship- Silver - $25 Gold - $100, and Platinum - $250.  Each sponsor will have their name on the back of the t-shirt for the event, mentioned on our registration website and on the Care to Learn site, inclusion in our social media advertising, and a follow up thank-you in the paper.  Platinum sponsors get a free runner registration.  

When should I arrive at the event?

If you are a participant, we recommend getting there at least 30 minutes before the race to get checked in.  

 

What should I wear?

If you register before April 15th, you will receive a t-shirt for the event.  We recommend wearing white to maximize the colors that will be thrown at you during the race.  Some people prefer to wear eye protection and a bandana for respiratory protection during the event.  

Is the color safe?

Absolutely! The color is 100% safe and non-toxic.  

 

Can I participate without being in the race?

We do have volunteer spots available.  Please contact Volunteer Coordinator, Janeica Hancock if you would like to volunteer.

 

Where and When can I pick up my race packet?

Race Packets will be available for pickup from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, April 29th @ the Bolivar Schools Administration Building located @ 524 West Madison, Bolivar, MO 65613
